The Annuity Audit ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Plain English.
What we collect
When you fill out a form on our website, respond to one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, or contact us by phone or email, we collect what you give us:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (only if you provide it)
- State of residence (if you share it)
- Anything you write in a message or quiz answer
We also collect basic technical information: things like the pages you visit on annuityaudit.co, the device and browser you use, and general location (city or region). This helps us understand what's working on the site and improve it.
How we use it
- To answer your question or return your call
- To email you the free guide if you request it
- To follow up about the free annuity review you asked about
- To occasionally check in with you about your annuity. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time
- To improve our website and our ads
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. Ever. We share it only with:
- Team members at The Annuity Audit who help answer you
- Trusted service providers who help us send email, run the website, or process a call (they only get what they need and are contractually required to keep it private)
- Anyone we're legally required to share it with (a court order, for example)
Facebook and Instagram Lead Ads
If you submit information through a Facebook or Instagram ad "instant form," that data is sent to us by Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta's own privacy practices for that data are governed by their Data Policy. Once we receive your information from Meta, this privacy policy applies to how we handle it going forward.
Cookies and tracking
Our website uses standard cookies and pixel tags (including the Meta Pixel) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure ad performance. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which shows us in summary form where visitors click and scroll so we can make the site easier to use. Clarity hides what you type into forms. Microsoft's privacy statement is at privacy.microsoft.com. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work without them.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails: click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email we send.
- Request your data: email audit@annuityaudit.co and we'll send you a copy of what we have on file.
- Ask us to delete your data: email the same address and we'll remove it within 30 days (except anything we're legally required to keep, like signed disclosures if you become a client).
- Stop calls or texts: reply "STOP" to any text or tell us on a call. We honor Do Not Call requests immediately.
How we protect your information
We use standard security practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected accounts, and access limits so only the people who need to see your info can see it. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable care.
Children
Our services are for adults planning their retirement. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version here. Significant changes will also be shared via email if you're on our list.
