The process, start to finish

How the Free Audit Works.

From the moment you request your audit to the moment you have a straight answer, here's exactly what happens — every step, what we do, what you do, and how long it takes.

1
Day 1 · About 2 minutes

You request the audit.

Fill out a short form on the audit page — first name, last name, email, phone (or just email if you'd rather we email you first). Or if you'd rather skip typing, call directly at (702) 582-7855.

Someone from our team reaches out to introduce themselves within one business day and confirms what you own (or that you're not sure what you own — also fine).

2
Day 1–3 · About 5 minutes on your end

You sign a simple authorization.

We email you a one-page authorization form. You review it, sign it (electronically — no printing anything), and send it back. That's it for your part.

Exactly what the authorization does — and doesn't do:

What it DOES allow:
  • Us to contact your carrier
  • Us to request a copy of your contract
  • Us to gather your current values & fees
What it does NOT allow:
  • Any changes to your policy
  • Access to move your money
  • Buying, selling, or surrendering the contract

Information only. Nothing changes on your policy without you actively signing a separate document. Most people find this the biggest peace-of-mind moment in the whole process.

3
Day 3–10 · Zero effort from you

We gather your full contract details.

We contact your carrier directly and pull everything — often more than you'd get by calling them yourself. Specifically:

  • Current account value and cash surrender value
  • Every fee on the contract (M&E, admin, rider, fund expenses)
  • Surrender charge schedule — when it ends, what the charge is in each year
  • All active riders (income, death benefit, long-term care, if any)
  • Guaranteed minimum interest rate and any income guarantees
  • Death benefit terms and beneficiary designations
  • Carrier's current financial strength rating

Timeline varies by carrier — some send everything in three days, some take two weeks. This is the longest part of the process, and it's all happening in the background. You don't need to do anything.

4
Day 10–14 · Our team's analysis

We compare what you have to what's available.

Our team runs a side-by-side against the top A+ rated carriers we represent. We look at:

  • Fees: Are you paying more than today's market rate?
  • Income: Could a newer contract pay more per month for life?
  • Guarantees: Have income riders and living benefits improved since you bought?
  • Protection: Does your current annuity match the market-crash protection you actually want?
  • Family: What does your beneficiary actually receive when you pass, and is there a better structure?
  • LTC: Would a modern long-term care rider help if care became a need?

Everything gets written up in plain English — no jargon, no advisor-speak. Real numbers with real explanations.

5
Day 14–15 · Your call from here

You get the honest answer.

We walk you through the full report — over the phone, on Zoom, or in writing, your choice. There are three possible conclusions:

Your annuity wins. Sometimes older contracts have guarantees or features no longer available. If yours is genuinely the best fit for your situation, we tell you to keep it — in writing.

A tweak makes sense. Maybe you can add a rider you didn't know existed, or activate a benefit you're already paying for. Small change, real impact.

Something better exists. We show you exactly what and why. If you want to move forward, we handle the paperwork end-to-end. If you don't, that's it — no follow-up, no pressure.

There is no obligation to do anything after the audit. Ever. If we tell you your annuity is fine, that's the end of it. We only get paid — by the carrier, never by you — if you eventually move to a new contract.
